Dr. Mao has known she wanted to be a dentist since the age of 13. Inspired by her father, who had a deep fear of the dentist and avoided treatment for 30 years, she aspired to become the kind of dentist he could trust—one who is compassionate, understanding, and dedicated to patient comfort. That same commitment drives her approach to dentistry today.
Dr. Mao earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Washington. She is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, ensuring every visit is a positive one. Whether helping patients restore their smiles or maintain their oral health, she prioritizes comfort, education, and trust.
Outside the office, Dr. Mao enjoys traveling, reading, playing boardgames, trying new escape rooms, and spending time with her friends and family. She is excited to be part of the community and looks forward to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
