What Is Medicaid (WA Apple Health) and What Does It Cover?
A healthcare initiative that is jointly supported by the federal government and the state is Apple Health dental insurance in Washington State. Medicaid is mandated to pay for dental care for everyone under the age of twenty-one. This would include all diagnostics, treatments, and preventative or pre-screening care. Only medically essential or emergency dental treatment is covered in 18 states, whereas preventative, restorative, and periodontal care are covered in 32 states.
How Do I Check My Eligibility?
You must first apply for and be approved for WA state Apple Health insurance in order to have your dental expenses covered. Next, you should inquire about what dental services your insurance will cover with them. After completing all of that, you can schedule a dental appointment at Seablue Dental of Kent. To check your eligibility and benefits, we’ll need the ID card for your dental insurance from Medicaid, Apple Health, Provider One, Molina, or United Healthcare. Additionally, we require this data in order to submit your dental claim to Medicaid following the completion of the dental work.
Are All Kids Eligible For Apple Health or Medicaid?
The ADA reports that 38.7% of kids aged 2 to 18 have access to dental care through Medicaid or other government programs. 11% of them lacked dental insurance but had Medicaid. Only 6.7% of persons aged 19 to 64 have Medicaid with dental benefits. 35.2% of them lacked dental insurance but had Medicaid.
